Military and Veterans Services at Hawkeye Community College is committed to enhancing the lives and educational experiences of Veterans, military personnel, their families, and the community.
We are dedicated to help with the unique challenges associated with transitioning from military life to the college experience. The Veterans Services coordinator provides assistance with all VA Benefit applications, State Tuition Assistance, Federal Tuition Assistance, My CAA programs, scholarships, and financial aid. We actively provide programs and experiences to educate the Hawkeye community of the contributions and perspectives of our military-connected students and implement policy and practice to serve our student veterans and their families.
It is recommended that potential students with military service visit with their Education Service Officer or counselor in their respective military service prior to enrolling. If you need assistance locating your point of contact, our office can assist you.
Veterans Resource Center
The Veterans Resource Center, located in the Brock Student Center, is an extension of Hawkeye’s appreciation for your service to our country. It is your place to connect with others to form a sense of camaraderie around shared experiences. Come enjoy a relaxed atmosphere to study or meet others. Open during regular Brock Student Center hours.
